Holiness is one of those words I have a hard time grasping. I’m a sinner, and though I’m fully aware I have, and need, a Savior, I’m also aware of my wrong doings on a daily basis. In terms of who I am, I don’t feel as if I identify with the word holy. I reserve that declaration for Jesus: my God and King.  So, what does the Word say about who we are in terms of holiness? How are we to find holy in the deep, hollow places inside us? It seems scary to search for anything there. Am I right?

Throughout the month of November, we will study what it means to awaken holiness in deep places. We will work to figure out who we are in the middle of our mess, and what it takes to truly identify with such a reverent word.

As we move toward the Christmas season, holy is a word we often hear. Wouldn’t it be great if we could move into the holidays cognizant of who we are meant to be as people of Christ? Together, let’s pursue an awakening of holiness in a way we never have before!

As always, subscribers will receive extra content every Friday in the form of a Word for Your Weekend video. The content of these videos will be a little different from the Job series. We also have something brand new coming to the blog very soon! Subscribers will be the first to learn of the changes!

Our key verse for this series is 2 Timothy 3:16.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness…

-2 Timothy 3:16

On our Word for Your Weekend Video, we will talk about this scripture and how it will lead the way for our study. If you’re not a subscriber, you’re just an email away from deeper study!

Also, I have a guest post on Jeremy and Audrey Roloff’s blog: Beating 50 Percent! I’m honored to share on the topic of marriage, and a subject matter near and dear to my heart: miscarriage, stillbirth, and infertility. Feel free to share the post!

Love,

Jennifer
