I’ve started the process of writing this “about me” page somewhere around 8 million times already. It’s like trying to take the perfect selfie, which we all know is nearly impossible. I don’t really like to write/talk about myself, because I’m never sure what in the world “about me” could possibly be interesting to someone else. I spend my days imperfectly raising kids, loving my husband, and trying hard not to make a disaster out of life.

However, I think we can relate to each other because those of us who have made a decision to serve Christ wake up each morning with the promise of brand new mercy, purpose to live the day, and hope to carry us. We wake up with the love of a God who knows us and wants us to know Him. We rise out of bed, touch toes to the floor and mutter prayers that sound something like, “Dear Jesus, Help!” It is those simple prayers from humble lips, breathed from hearts just like yours and mine that connect us to something so much bigger than we will ever see or know while journeying in this life.

I’m no perfect person, but I am called to bring the Bible alive to women who need reminded just how valuable they are and how their purpose is wrapped tightly in mercy. We were born sinners in need of a Savior, and in spite of any wrong doing we’ve ever done, or ever will do, we were born loved by the Creator, and His love will never leave us.

There have been seasons in my life when I’ve forgotten my purpose, felt alone and even left behind. Along the way, I’ve needed others to remind me of His calling and help restore me through His Word. And maybe you need that, too. Maybe you need someone to remind you of His love while helping you to activate purpose through the power of scripture.

Together, we can journey through the pages of the Bible and make them come alive. We can learn about a God who longs to fulfill the dreams and desires living deeply inside us because they were placed there by Him. Through the power of His Word, we can rise in spite of problems and circumstances which try to weigh us down. We can remind each other that we are meant to live our purpose and inspire others to do the same.

Thanks for joining me here!

Love,
