Sixty-nine days…

I had some photos taken today for the blog.  I’m not all that photogenic, and there is something about saying, “Hey, world look at me!” that makes me feel very uncomfortable.  Needless to say, once again I am breaking out of my comfort zone.  This whole idea of joining the blogosphere is a little zany for me.  Someone recently told me I need a fan page for the blog and upcoming book on Facebook, I said, “Um… for real, a fan page?”  I really am a simple soul; attention creeps me out a bit.  And, with that being said, here I am writing to the world.  Go figure…

Sitting down to write every single day has definitely been a disciplining skill.  Not that I don’t love it, because I do.  It’s just that life is hectic.  After having my pictures taken this morning, I had to rush home and frantically finish baking for a bonfire our church is having tonight.  As I’m writing to you, I’m covered in butter and powdered sugar.  If you’ve been reading my blog, you know I love butter. However, butter + sugar = sweet surrender.

Every day, I’ve been stepping out of my shy shell to write.  Often I am in the midst of juggling a million projects at once, but I’m having a wonderful time doing it.  Is there something bordering on zany you’ve wanted to do and haven’t?  If I can come out of my shell, so can you!  Life is short, dream big, and dream often!  Little zany moments in life always have a way of delivering joy.
