Start thanking Him for things to come.
“Thanksgiving – giving thanks in everything –
prepares the way that God might show us His fullest salvation in Christ.”
– Ann Voskamp
To be thankful is to pave the road. I began thanking Christ for my miracle long before I came close to receiving it, long before the pain subsided, and long before I thought it possible to breathe again.
To thank Him is to learn who He is and what He can do in a life. Miracles happen through a thankful heart.
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith,
as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
– Colossians 2:6-7 (NKJV)
It is once again a learned behavior and process.
The scripture says, “As you have been taught . . .”
To be taught anything, you must be first willing to learn. Be willing to learn walking in His ways.
Learn to thank Him regardless of where you are on the battlefield.
I’m praying for you!
Love,
Jennifer

AMEN. It is so important to learn to praise Him, even in the midst of a battle.
Thankfulness in the midst of battle is a form of worship:).
