Trust leads to triumph.
After I endured five miscarriages, during two of which I almost bled to death, the stillbirth of a daughter, and years of infertility, the thought of continuing to trust God seemed crazy.
But trust is what keeps you going when you think you can’t go any further. (Tweet that)
If you have nothing to trust in and nothing to hope for, going on seems impossible.
God gives miracles through the dirty, bloodstained battlefield. The key is to learn to look for them. When the battle is hard, just making it another day is a miracle, and He deserves praise for that.
Everything I’ve told you about life on the battlefield is interconnected. All the pieces work together toward the goal of giving God glory and finding His beauty through tragedy.
Despite the tragedy, when you choose to trust anyway, you are triumphant. Even if you’re still fighting for your life, the fact that you’ve chosen to trust in the Creator who loves you and knows your name tells me that you are brave.
It doesn’t matter where this battle leads you or what is next in your life – you can make it. You were designed for His delight, and He will lead you through this.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
– Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
He has called you His own from the beginning of time. The question is – will you call Him yours by trusting Him?
Keep trusting, friends!
Love,
Jennifer
