What I learned in DecemberI REALLY enjoy taking part in a link-up hosted by Emily Freeman, so even though I have a lot of other activity happening on the blog today, I thought I would share an extra post. It’s her last link-up of the year…  So, why not?

Here is what I learned in December…

  1. There is a post circulating on Facebook which tells you all the sayings you shouldn’t utter over the age of 30. I’m guilty of number 2 and have even written it on the blog. Why do people want to chastise those over 30 or in my case 40 for thieving lingo? And, hey, maybe someone over 30 said it first! (I know, right?)
  2. Giving gifts is my absolute favorite part of Christmas! I’ve always known it was but this year God etched it into my soul. Because of this, I’ve started the #GoGive campaign. If you want to read more about that, just click here.
  3. It IS possible to surprise my husband with gifts. He is a big kid and surprising him is nearly impossible, but I went to great lengths and it proved successful. Not easy, but successful. It’s okay, he’s more than worth it!
  4. Dark chocolate covered pretzel crisps are amazing and my new favorite snack! Or meal! Or dessert! Or perfect for anytime I’m hungry. Or not hungry. Just trust me and buy a bag. They are made by Snack Factory, and I bought mine at Sam’s Club.

Okay, I know this post contains nothing life changing… well, actually, number 2 might. You should really check that out! Everything else is pure silliness.  I’m a firm believer that everyone needs a little silly every now and then.

Have a great day!

Love,

Jennifer
