Speak EncouragementSometimes, life makes me tired. I sit dry of words, void of anything to say, and the Lord reminds me it only takes one drip. One tiny drip of inspiration from Him causes a flow of language straight from the heart.

From the same flow I sail on waters of grace.

Sometimes it takes me a while to recognize His grace because the waters can be rough. Yes, even grace-filled waters have record high swells. I can become so caught up in my own worries that I forget to pour out.

When you speak encouragement to another soul, you speak life. (Tweet that.)

I’m reminded I need to rid myself of me, so I can show who He is.

“For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth”

-Job 19:25

Two words in this beautiful statement from Job bring me to my knees. He said, “I know.” He knew his Redeemer lived. The pain both inside and out was wretched. His wife was against him, his friends were against Him, He felt that God Himself was against him, and yet he knew his Redeemer lived.

He recognized the glory that shone through the power of his God, even when nothing at all seemed glorious.

He Knew.

Do you know?

The reason I can encourage others is because I know.

I know that my Redeemer lives.

While fighting through infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, friends who disappoint, family members who hurt, challenges through parenting, marriage, and all the other politics of life, my Redeemer lives.

You are not forgotten. You too are sailing on the waters of grace. Through white capped waves and a seasick stomach your Redeemer lives. No matter what hurt you face or how bad today treats you, your Redeemer lives.

“He uses our problems for His miracles. This was my first lesson in learning to trust Him completely…”

Corrie Ten Boom

No matter what, declare today a miracle! Take your eyes off yourself, encourage someone else, and let everyone know your Redeemer lives!

Love,

Jennifer
