Hello, Friends! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day weekend filled with chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate! Oh, and did I mention chocolate?
We spent Friday night having dinner with friends where we laughed hysterically and over indulged in dare I say… chocolate. I have now spent 26 consecutive Valentine’s Days with my husband. God is so faithful!
Today’s blog is an update of sorts. There are a few things with which I want to bring you up to speed.
1. Nothing to Hold but Hope:
When I began blogging I talked a lot about my upcoming book, Nothing to Hold but Hope. (My personal journey through 15 years of miscarriage, stillbirth, and infertility.) I’ve been praying about when to release it and exactly how I want to present it. I can tell you it will be available for purchase in May. To all of you who have been asking, it won’t be much longer. Woo-hoo!
2. The Mercy Retreat:
Tickets are selling for the Mercy Retreat. The deadline for early bird tickets is Monday, March 31st. After March 31st tickets increase $20.00. You can read more information and link to Eventbee here. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at Jen@agirlonthedoorstep.com
3. Go Give:
This month’s Go Give prompt is an act of service. If you would like to participate in Go Give, or learn more about it, you can click here for details.
I know today’s post isn’t typical, but before I end I want to tell you how much I appreciate each of you. Every day I pray for all of you who read this blog. There were so many of you who shared my post, What I won’t Say in Front of My Daughter. I received messages and kind words from many different women who feel just like I do. All of you blessed me so much!
I consider it a gift and privilege to pray for you. If you ever have a prayer request, you can always comment or email me.
May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose.
-Psalm 20:4
You are loved by Him!
