Chosen PosterIMG_0055Hello, friends! I don’t usually write on the weekends, but there are a few things I want to communicate. Just so you know, when it comes to self promotion, branding, and anything that seems as if it might endorse me, I loathe it!

I need to convey that having a blog has forced me to step out of my comfort zone. I have always considered “keeping to myself” a safe place. Truthfully, I don’t like sharing my headshots, asking you to subscribe to my blog, or even asking you to purchase tickets to The Mercy Retreat. I wish you could all come for free. I really do! The only thing I want to share is hope and the source from which it comes. It is the only reason why I write.

Over the course of the last 20 months, this new journey has been quite uncomfortable for me at times. I don’t like anything to shout my name. My entire purpose is to shout the name of Christ. I hope my writing helps to point you to where He is. I pray you don’t see me, because if you do you will only see a woman full of uncomfortable “I love Lucy” quirky moments, insecurity issues, and someone just trying to get through life by glorifying Jesus regardless of her struggles. (And trust me, there are plenty of struggles!)

Actually, if you could really see me at this moment, you would see that I’m battling with unexpected grief over something I thought I dealt with years ago. We’ll talk more about that next week…

See, this post is a “me” post. I HATE it! Let’s switch gears…

The picture at the top of this post is of the worship band “Chosen!” They will be ministering to us at The Mercy Retreat!

I had a chance to visit The Antiochian Village Conference Center last week and it stirred up even more excitement inside me! We are going to have an amazing time of worship, the word, fellowship, and fun. A weekend of sisters coming together to share their lives with each other in mercy and love is something all of us need. (And all the sisters shout, “Amen!”)

Tomorrow, tickets for The Mercy Retreat will go on sale at the lowest price yet. They will be available through Eventbee both Sunday and Monday at the sale rate. My heart hurts every time I receive an email from someone telling me how much they would love to come but cannot afford the ticket at the current rate. Considering what my cost is at the Antiochian, This is the best price I can offer. I hope and pray it will inspire you to take a deep breath and step out in faith to be part of a beautiful and relaxing weekend.

The purpose of The Mercy Retreat Team and speakers is to make you feel loved, wanted, and connected. We want to give you an all inclusive mini-vacation built on the foundation of Christ, mixed together with the unity in sisterhood to which we are called!

I’m also going out on a limb to ask all of you who subscribe to this blog, or those who might be reading it through a social media circle, to share this information with others on social media or via email. I am including a graphic at the bottom of this post for you to share.

Okay, Ladies… Let’s celebrate His Mercy!

Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

-Proverbs 3:3

Will I see you at The Mercy Retreat?

Love,

Jennifer
