Eighty-nine days…
Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (N.K.J.V.)
Those words are so powerful. He cannot only do all we ask or think, he can do ABOVE all we ask or think, EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY ABOVE all we ask or think. Can you even begin to wrap your brain around the fact that He has orchestrated plans for us we cannot begin to even think? This scripture gives new meaning to the saying, “Beyond my wildest dreams.”
For years and years I prayed for another baby. Personally, I think the reason He didn’t answer exactly how I asked Him is because He had plans far above what my human mind could fathom. Even though I can look back now and see resolve to my situation, there are still many questions that will not be answered until I awake in His likeness. And, to tell you the truth, when I finally arrive there, I don’t think I’m going to care about all the unanswered whys. I spent a lot of years trying to figure things out. It was impossible to do so and a big waste of time. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “It is what it is.” It can be frustrating, but it’s truth. We won’t always have answers, but we need to remember He is able.
When you’re feeling defeated, He is able. When things seem impossible, He is able. Always remember, He is able to do exceedingly abundantly ABOVE all we ask or think.
I really needed this message today.
Thanks Jen 🙂
