Eighty-three days…
I put together a jigsaw puzzle today. After the puzzle was finished, I stood admiring the pretty picture it made. Even though I could see little lines all through it from where each piece connected, I still considered it beautiful. Those tiny seams somehow reminded me it was worth the angst of figuring out how each piece joined together to fit into place. I’ve shared before how much of a visual learner I am. All types of ideas are sparked in my mind based on how I perceive what is before my eyes.
Today, as I viewed the puzzle, I thought about how all of us experience trials and tribulations in life. When people endure hardships, it is easy to break apart emotionally. When we allow God to move in our lives, we slowly see those pieces begin to reconnect. Each detailed seam is a reminder of God’s faithfulness. They represent attributes such as compassion, wisdom, gentleness, patience, and so much more. Weakness does not have to define our inward scars. We can be stronger because of them. In the end, after the reconnection of pieces once broken, our lives make beautiful pictures, testimonies of God’s mercy and grace…
