Praying for Those in the Path of the Hurricane

Eighty-one days…

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been addicted to The Weather Channel today. I almost feel as if my television is magnetic. I NEED to watch the latest updates. As I view the reports, I feel more and more drawn to pray with fervency for all the people in the path of Hurricane Sandy. A few minutes ago I sat down to read my Bible and came across the following scripture, which I think is very appropriate.

Psalm 29:10-11

The Lord sat enthroned at the flood, and the Lord sits as King forever. The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. (N.K.J.V.)

Let’s all join together and pray for the people in the eye of this storm. May God protect them and saturate them in His peace.
