I’ve mentioned recently that I’ve had a small storm occurring around me. I’ve been dealing with it through praise. When I praise God, it seems to calm the storm in my life. Devastating circumstances might continue to swirl about me, but He allows me to remain standing, filled with peace at the knowingness that this too shall pass.
When I’m feeling the storm surge, I often will sit at the piano and sing praises. Sometimes, I read scripture out loud, and often I quietly pray. I am determined to utter praise, whether it is through fingertips to the piano keys, my voice, or my actions toward others; I want to glorify His name. There are times I fail and become caught up in my own fleshly feelings, but my ultimate goal is to always give praise.
Praise is awaiting Him. Give Him praise today!
