Hello.  It’s me… again.  I’ve been a busy bee, because I have been planning.  I’m completely excited and full of anticipation for things to come.  I’m not allowing the mean old voice, which tells me I can’t do it, invade my dreams.  No way, Hosea!  No siree, Bob!  (For clarification purposes, I don’t really hear voices.  I’m just a tad bit insecure sometimes.  I only hear my own voice which will occasionally say, “The glass is half empty.” Does this make sense?  Am I rambling?  Yes, I am rambling.)

Each day when I awaken I remember His mercies are new every morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23)  It’s a new day with new hope and new possibilities.  I have a lot going on right now.  My book is in the last stages of editing and will be available soon.  I can hardly contain my excitement!  Can you tell?

Yesterday, I spoke about my journey beginning with prayer.  So, what’s next?

Woman On RockYou have probably already had a taste of this from reading the blog, and when you read my book you will see how important I hold the following statement.  It is imperative to have a scripture on which you can “stand!”  It’s important to memorize a verse relating to your situation.  I’ve been doing this for years and it helps me tremendously.  Why should this new adventure be any different?  I’ve spoken frequently about fulfilling your God-given purpose.  With that in my mind, I’ve chosen the following scripture to stand on while moving in this new direction of my life.

Psalm 20:4

May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose.  (N.K.J.V.)

There is a much deeper reason as to why l have chosen a verse from Psalm 20.  However, I have to save the explanation for after the book is finished.  I can’t wait to share!

My word of encouragement for you today is to not only pray fervently for direction, but to also find a scripture to memorize and hold as a promise.  Prayer and scripture are foundational when beginning any new journey.  Actually, they are foundational when beginning each new day!  I’m building my house on the Rock! (Matthew 7:25)

Do you have a scripture on which you stand?  If so, what is it?
