We are called to impact lives for Christ. There is no doubt about it. Those lives could be our husbands, children, friends, acquaintances, or complete strangers. He has a plan for each of us to fulfill, and a life for each of us to touch. From smiling at someone who needs kindness, to sharing the gospel, to cleaning the bathroom, (Hey, someone has to do it, right?) each day is another puzzle piece in our lives. We have opportunity to put the piece where it belongs and accomplish the fulfillment of our ministries.
To wake up in the morning and ask the lord, “what can I do for You today, Lord?” can be an eye opening experience. With each new day, we awaken to brand new mercy and hope to keep us motivated throughout the day. He provides strength for EVERY task.
Acts 9:22
But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ. (N.K.J.V.)
We can be certain that Saul (Paul) needed strength for the mission Christ had for Him to accomplish, and Christ provided exactly what he needed.
Each day, God will give us just enough of what we need to make it through. We need to make sure we are dependent upon Him. He pours out His strength in the little things, just as He pours it out in big things. He wants us to lean on Him for complete provision through each step of our lives.
My prayer for you today is that God will give you strength no matter how little or big your circumstances. I pray that you accomplish your day while holding the hand of Jesus.
This might seem silly, but will you do me a favor, please? Stop for a second and take a deep breath in and then exhale. Be aware of the breath. Then, I want you to take a moment to think about the fact that God ordained that breath you just took, every breath you’ve ever breathed, and every one you ever will breathe.
He has a plan for you. One day at time, one moment at a time, one breath at a time. As long as you have breath He has a plan for you to fulfill your ministry, and He will give you the strength to do it.
What are you waiting for? Take a deep breath, grab hold of His hand, and run!
