Today, I’m linking up with Lisa-Jo Baker for Five minute Friday. The prompt is the word brave.
What does brave look like?
This is what comes to mind… Women’s ministry is where God has led me and it is also where I see exactly what bravery reflects…
Women with sick children = Brave
Women who are ill themselves = Brave
Women fighting for their marriages = Brave
Women taking care of ailing parents = Brave
In five minutes there is no way to list all the circumstances precious women everywhere are battling, but I am proud to be part of a community of women who are the bravest I have ever met. The most amazing part about them is that they have no clue they actually define the word. They are taking small steps. One foot in front of the other while depending on the strength of their Savior who happens to be the bravest of all.
A sinless Son who died on a cross of shame, so that all these beautiful women have the ability to be brave…
Here is to women everywhere…
Here is to brave…
I agree – women face so much and are usually more than what they believe themselves to be. And they are definitely brave. Nice to meet you. Visiting from FMF today!

Thanks for sharing Jen. You are brave inside and out, the spirit of the Lord shining brightly upon you. I love you and Paul.
When it comes to courage, women have that in great abundance. We don’t always see it ourselves, though.
You are right, Tam. It is so much easier to see it in others rather than ourselves. Thank you for reading.
Yes, here is to women everywhere and to being brave through the powerful strength of Christ! May we be alert to it as it unfolds in a variety of ways each day.
A blessing & prayer covering over you as you serve in ministry to women!
Be Inspired!
Thank you! 🙂
