In this present time of life my days are usually focused around laundry, kissing boo boos, and trying to make sure my household is happy. I wake up each morning thankful for the brand new mercy of God. Oh, how I need it!
Though I dream of desires that lie ahead, I’m so thankful for the peace of right now.
Each day is far from perfect and life can easily leave a bruise, but I’m grateful for His gentle hand.
My days consist of giggles from miracles I was told probably wouldn’t ever exist.
I look at my 20 year old son who is now a man and wonder how each day led me here so quickly.
My days are spent serving a God who continues to make a way when there seems to be no way.
My present is Christ’s presence in my life.
“All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen.”

Beautiful, heart touching post.
Thank you:).
Dear Jennifer
Are you sure he is your 20 year old son and not perhaps your brother!!! Yes, living in the present is what common sense tells us to do and Solomon advises us never to let go of wisdom and common sense.

Thanks, Mia. The lines around my eyes prove I’m his mother. LOL
and those twinkle marks around ours eyes simply highlight our “Sparkle” …and hopefully take focus away from the dark circles I’ve developed. (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! 😉
I love that! “Twinkle marks!”
This is so lovely. When I turned 50, The Lord said it was my time….for me to tell my story. Cracks, scars, Healing, Restoration and all. Blessings, Shandra 🙂

Thank you, Shandra. The Lord told me the same thing as I was approaching 40:).
Lovely words..these reminders to be fully present in the “now” because times goes so quickly are just what I need to read today!
Thanks, Crystal!
“My days are spent serving a God who continues to make a way when there seems to be no way.” Amen to that!
