Coffee cup and flowers photoHello, Friends! I’m linking up with Holley Gerth for her Coffee for your Heart 2014 Encouragement Challenge. There is something I need you to know today…

Coffee-for-Your-Heart-150All week, I’ve been actively searching scripture referring to God’s love for us. I’ve needed the reminders and gentle whispers to my soul. No matter how much we know intellectually about the way our Father feels about us, it’s always good to remember how much He loves us. It’s a heart thing.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

-Philippians 4:8

I’ve been meditating on His love. And I’ve been praising Him for it.

His love for us is a miracle. An awesome God who didn’t need us, wanted us.

You are wanted…

You are always in His thoughts…

You are never alone…

You are loved…

What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?

-Psalm 8:4

I can say with great certainty the answer to that question is loved.

Man is loved.

We are loved.

When life makes you weary…

When old wounds seep…

And when brand new, wide, open doors cause  hesitation to move forward because of the bittersweet of leaving something once beautiful behind, know you are loved.

Life is full of difficult decisions and situations which often make us cling to control, fear, and worry rather than love. It’s the love of Jesus which frees us.

His blood on the cross was made from love – True, noble, just, pure, lovely, good, praiseworthy love.

You, my friend, are loved!

Love,

Jennifer
