Hi, Friend. All this talk about beauty is making me look intensely at the messy spaces of my heart. I really believe that to see beauty on the outside, we have to immerse ourselves not only in who God is, but also in who He says we are. When we learn to stand on the promises He has made, and fully believe what He says about us, it becomes easier to connect with our beauty – both inside and out.

Last week, I talked about what I believe to be the first step – recognizing that He created us in His image, which signifies our worth. In the video blog on Friday, we dug deeper into the conversation between Martha and Jesus after the death of Lazarus.

To grasp that God wants to reveal Himself in us is a life-giving, beauty-dwelling concept.

Today, I want us to think about the next step we are going to discuss: the fact that when we receive Him, we become His children. We are adopted into His Kingdom. I want to uncover the beautiful that lives in that space.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

I’m going to pull all of this together on Friday’s vlog. I really need to use my voice to communicate with you the passion I feel about the concept of beautiful as it relates to His children.
